First requirement when living with an mpn ,is a strong attitude to being well. If we allow this horrible problem to rule our waking life ,it will get a strong hold..so I urge you to take control with a positive onslaught ...start everyday with a resolution to do more ..a longest journey starts with just a few steps !! I'm feeling better ,keep twinkling . Xx

Good moaning!

So glad you've picked up.

How I agree.

I've just a read a wonderful book called secrets from chuckling goat ( I know, odd title)

I heartily recommend it to everyone out there.

It's an amazing true story of an American lady who used to host a chat show in the states, gave it all up, came to the uk, married a welsh farmer who had ulcerative colitis. He went into hospital for a major op......I won't tell you any more because it will spoil the story, but it's a dead easy read, unputdownable so they say, and reiterates everything we believe in about positive state of mind, diet and lifestyle.

She believes in what is and not what if.

Fantastic. I'd love to meet her.

Have a good day.

Louise

Hi Violet,

Yes lovely break thanks. Blue blue sky -it was good to feel some warm spring sunshine.

We love Mallorca, the northern part, beautiful mountains, quaint villages, great walking and the scent of pine forests, just gorgeous.

Chilly wind in the evenings - we rented a sweet little town house in Pollenca with a charming owner.

It was Baltic in the evenings as no heat - despite miquel's attempts at cranking up the air con to puff pastry temperature.

The TV only had Spanish stuff so we ended up like Derby and Joan huddled under a blanket together watching numerous episodes of call the midwife ! Someone had left the box set.

Steve stoically sat there through all the births grunting and groaning, I think he secretly got to enjoy the stories in the end. What a sad pair we are!

I'm glad you are feeling better. Yes I agree you have to keep moving forward and being positive. Those two friends of yours must help (in the photo). I decided I had to do something else- so I've started walking first thing, shower, dress out the door for 45 mins. Something else to focus on. I still have my moments of panic but not as much as I used to. I should add being 70 I have a lot of aches and pains after walking but I do sleep longer now. Enjoy your day.
