Hi, I have et and on hydroxycarbamide . Had urine infection for 2 wks. Is there any antibiotics you can't take with these tabs? Thanks all

I am on hydroxycarbamide the same as you and I occasionally get infections and my GP gives me antibiotics without any problems

Don't worry gust talk to your Doctor

You can take any I think I have had ET for 20 years and never had a probs with antibiotics

Hi, soomoo, I have had ET for 27 years and have taken HU for all that time. I've taken many antibiotics for sinus infections and have never had a problem. You must see a doctor about the urine infection. Don't worry. You will be fine.

Hi - just another affirmative reply have had ET for 19 years and been on HU for 10 and have taken antibiotics on several occasions, with no problems.

Thank you all very much for responses. I've finished courses of antibiotics now after 2 weeks and now taking d-mannose so fingers x
