So sorry to hear this. I assume that you were diagnosed with ET 3 years ago but have had it for longer as I didn't think it could progress that quickly ? I know it is in the back of the minds of all of us on here !

I have no idea if it will come back or not but hope that you are in remission for many years to come.

Hello Millions sorry to here about your change in circumstances and lets hope you continue in remission. That's my concern while taking Hydroxycarbamide. However we have to weigh up the risks of not taking it. Life is never easy is it?

Hi Millions, sorry to hear you have had a bad time but sounds like you are on the right road now. One of my friends, who had breast cancer, believed in a positive attitude making a huge difference and she certainly proved her point in making a full recovery after surgery, infections, etc. Just remember you will always get support from your friends on this website, some of whom will have gone through the same. Best wishes and take care, Aime

Hi, I have had ET for six years now since I was 39. I have asked my doctor if I can have a medical exemption card years ago with no luck.

Am I entitled to this? I have been paying for prescriptions for years now and it would really help.
