I need to share with people what has happened with me, I have had PV for 2 years and been on hydroxy and venesections throughout I have suffered terrible fatigue and also a great deal of pain a combination of PV but mainly psoriatic arthritis, as a result I have been taking large quantities of Tramadol even morphine for a period and amytryptalene. However, since Friday last week I have been using 'hemp oil' completely natural and has no 'high' effects the reulsts have been nothing short off miraculous, I have not taken a single tablet and i have been pain free and no fatigue, I have informed my heamotologist who says he knows of no conflict between it and any of my medication, I am also going to be monitoring its effects on my actual PV. I really can't emphasise enough my improvement, I done a lot of net research and the overwhelming belief is that it has been made illegal only because the big companies can't patent it so can't sell it, it's an attrocity, it cures so many things

I've bought some hemp oil as I'm willing to try what appear to be natural alternatives. What do you do with it? I'm currently taking 2 spoonfuls but not sure if that's too much or not enough. Thanks will keep you all posted

iT DEPENDS ON ITS STRENGTH THE 100% REQUIRES ONLY ABOUT 2-4 GRAMS IN TOTAL OVER SIX WEEKS BUT IT DEPENDS WHAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED i SUPPOSE I PUT IT UNDER MY TONGUE

Very interesting. I watched some of the video on you tube - to me, it seemed to make excessive claims but I think we have to keep an open mind on all these things. If people find it works, try it. Need to distingish between the different varieties of the cannabis plant - marijuana, hemp etc. You might be interested in an article in last saturday's Guardian colour supplement "Pot of Gold" on medical use of pot in Colorado.

myelo, I'm not aware it's legal anywhere as yet, I know we have 'sativa' recently and many US states have legalized medicinal hemp but as far as I am aware it's all trade mark formulas. I do know that if you had to buy enough to make the required 2 ounces of pure extract you need 1lb of quality hemp is required and if that's got to come from the street dealers in countries where it is illegal it would be very expensive

I've had PV for 4 years but more interestingly, my sister in law who lives in Sydney, has psoriatic arthritis and is beside herself with the pain poor soul.

I have watched videos on how to make it and I know someone ho has obviously, trouble is whilst hemp is illegal the street value makes it very expensive to make a 2 gram syringe (usually enough ingested over 6 weeks to CURE most ailments) as you need a pound of high grade hemp. If you can grow it yourself without detection seeds are far cheaper, if you see what I mean

4months on can you tell me if the hemp oil is still working for you. What effect has it had on your PV, has it enabled you to reduce your medication, or eased the fatigue etc

Hi there Gee 1, thanks for sharing. I have PV and Jak 2 +. Have only used natural remedies apart from Aspirin for since diagnosis nearly 4 years ago. Mainly Curcumin (most active part of Tumeric). My Heamatologist said 'oh yes, we know about Curcumin'. They can't perscribe yet but there are studies and papers on this and I'm so glad to hear from someone here who has found another natural remedy without side effects that is having a positive effect. My platlets are 585 consistently. No symptons, even fatigue. Will look at vid.

The big pharma companies probably want to suppress this info but you can't patent turmeric or hemp oil!

Anybody update on experiences with curcumin and hemp? Does hemp get you high? Would prefer not. Any success with cbd alone with managing not just symptoms but also disease progression? Please also state exactly what supplement and dose youre on thanks!
