Hi, I was diagnosed with vestibular migraine just before lock down in early March, have been on Propranolol ever since, today I have had a review and been put on amitriptyline also, small dose of 10 mg a day, has anyone else tried this combination of medication?

Yes I use this combination and it’s reduced the number of attacks but not completely eradicated them.

I find I’m quite groggy in the morning and get a dry throat but it’s not too bad.

Thanks for the reply, it just seemed a bit off an odd combination, but the propranolol on its own hasn't really been doing anything, will give it a go. Many thanks

I have just started taking propanalol for vestibular migraine, my first dose was yesterday, and I woke up this morning with vertigo and dizziness. The specialist said I might get a little light headed at first so stand up slowly, but this is like a full on attack. Help! Is it the propanolol? Or just a weird coincidence?
