This has been happening a few times after migraines lately, but has anyone else found themselves getting really emotional after a migraine?
Past few times I've found my self having the need to cry after mine

Yes! I get very teary but now realise that it’s connected to the migraines so I just go with it.
Hi NetroPhil. I think this is quite normal. As far as I am concerned, I am careful with all these different terms and categorisations, such as postdrome, prodrome, aura and all these big fancy words. To me, it makes me feel depressed to have these words put onto how I feel and somehow it sort of depreciates it. The thing is that you had a migraine, you were in a lot of pain and when the pain is gone you feel so washed out, and yes, you feel like crying. Personally, I really start to have enough of all these doctors saying that everything I feel physically and emotionally is part of my migraines. Easy way out for them!
Sorry, it is just how I feel but I know where you're coming from. Just take care of yourself!
Yes!!! I have infrequent but very severe brainstem migraines with hemiplegic features. After my last one, I found myself laughing for hours at how bad the Emergency Room treatment was (a nightmare as they didn't know what it was that I was experiencing and I couldn't respond due to floating in and out of consciousness).
Usually the following 3 days after a migraine "attack" I'm a mess and feel exhausted. I did this also last time but the light-heartedness was...interesting!
