I used to work in a bonded warehouse blending grain whisky. I didn`t drink and still don`t, but the fumes used to make me mildly drunk at the end of the shift. I was laughing gently and would sometimes burst into quiet song on the bus on the way home. Later, the migraine started. As well as during the working week, I was also afflicted every weekend.
I have since discovered that migraine affects people in 17 year cycles. If it doesn`t go away after 17 years, then you start on another cycle. It first hit me as a 17 year old teenager and left when I was 51. I also discovered that a certain well known over the counter migraine medication, actually induces the illness if taken too often.
