Does anyone know why my eye would change colour before and during a migraine attack? It turns almost black when i have one. Does anyone else have this issue?

do you mean the colour of the iris or do you mean that you get dark rings around your eyes. My boyfriend says he can tell when I'm having a migraine because I get dark rings around my eyes.

If it is the iris then may be you are getting some pupil dilation but not sure what mechanism would be causing that.

I can't really help - you could try mentioning it to the optician next time you see them - but it may well be a lighting effect or, if it is just yourself noticing it, then it may be one of the perception changes that come with a migraine.
