I'm having sensations from the brain, heaviness from the right brain, numbness in the right part of the body, light headache, dizziness, confusion and restlessness. What do I do to overcome this?

Are you not being allowed to come off them slowly? Sounds awful and I'm afraid I can offer nothing but sympathy. Sorry. I hope someone can help.

Unfortunately I had something similar to this when I came off my prescription. All I could really do was take it easy, drink plenty of water and stay away from lights and sounds. But after about a week of my migraine getting stronger everyday, I had several blackouts at work, and they switched me to noritriptyline.

You should have been asked to slowly decrease the amount of amytriptiline that you take over a period of time which reduces the withdrawal symptoms. They would've also advised you to do plenty of exercise, eat healthy regularly, stay hydrated, keep your stress levels down and take it easy. I know that the symptoms are bad at the moment and there isn't a lot of things to do to prevent them, but they will go away eventually. I hope you get better soon.
