Hello I've heard of Suna, a lady in our town had it, it seems to be a continuous style headache that peaks and troughs. I only know about bc she had an implant that she could turn on and off remotely to help with the pain. She got in the newspaper bc she left the remote part in a taxi and there was a media campaign to try and help her get in back. I've met someone else at The Migraine Conference who had it also but she had several other headache disorders which complicates her experience of it. Sorry not much help but I know the implant made a big difference.

Thanx cat00 , reading what you just wrote sounds like me!! God it's just so complicated.

They have spoken to me about an implant they place just above left breast but i need another opinion first 😔

The lady i met had pain spikes every 5 minutes I think, she could sense it coming and press the button on the remote and it would make it much less painful. It sounds appalling though as she was always in some pain. I have migraines about 50% of the time and thats bad enough!

I have background headache 24/7 which spikes to migraine level pain sporadically throughout the day. Not had a painfree day for 23 mths.

But, i also have no cartridge on the left side of my jaw and they operated and locked it!!

god!!! What a bloody mess 😢😢

I think these things are more often than not very complex. I have 7 different 'functional disorders' they all give me daily pain. I've been gradually getting worse over the last 20 years however it is only been this year I found out that all these disorders are often found together. Before this I thought it was just me, that I must mad! The only thing I can really say is you can usually bear more pain than think you can, but may have adjust your outlook somewhat, take one day at a time. The good thing is the migraine field is currently exploding with new discoveries and treatments so things are looking more positive for our futures!

Yeah your right there, wee definitely are put to the test.

Hopefully they'll figure this stuff out soon. There's never going to be a "one med fits all" a consistent diagnosis would be a good place to start!!

Be well
