Dull aching throbbing pain on head.

I'm 20 years old and I've been doing Botox now for migraines. I've had a migraines for 5 years. I keep having this really bad uncomfortable dull aching throbbing feeling on the top left side of my head.

Hi Chelsea 

Does the botox work?  I've had cluster headaches,migraines,  tension type and cerviogenic headaches. I want to chop my head off 90% of the year. I'm on nerve blocks and diazepam but I'm seeing my neurologist next week and I'm going to ask for oxygen and the transmagnetic stimulator. I need all the help I can get

I had a CT scan  3 years ago and they saw something. I don't know what they saw. It was a black spot but I had a braces at the time so they don't know what it was.

Did this just start? How long have you been doing the botox?  all my migraines are on the left side only and my skin/scalp is hypersensitive in addition to throbbing  on that side only when I have an attack.  I just started botox last month.  Next appointment is June 10. I'm going to ask about occipital nerve block then.  It sounds like it would relieve the extreme sensitivity better.  Any luck on the botox?

It helps my migraines but this doesn't feel like a migraine. The Botox do help. Just not this pain

Just a warning about the Botox for the under-30's! It can cause your eyes to sink back and age your face very significantly. Most NHS trusts don't like giving it to under-30's because of this side effect.

I finally 'qualified' for migraine after suffering for 12 years, trying every medication twice and starting to vomit 5 years ago. I've lost several jobs due to being a migraine sufferer! I had my first batch of Botox at 29 + 1 month, and the second batch at 29 + 5 months.
