Do any of you have experience of the use of Neuromodulation in the management of Migrainous headaches?
I had to stop Pizotifen due to joint problems and other than retrying Topirimate ( I had to stop it when I nearly crashed the car, so would have to take time off work ) I think I'm running out of options.

I,m not sure what neuromodulation is but I,m about to try neurotherapy which is supposed to be very effective in reducing/eliminating migraine attacks. I have read a book called the migraine revolution by Martin brink which is brilliant and would reccomend to all migraineurs. I,ve already seen a big improvement in the severity of my attacks and hoping that neurotherapy will see them off for good
Hope you find some useful info, (not sure if you will read the book so just FYI there are different types of neurotherapy) the most effective is EEG neurotherapy
Hi summer I,m not an expert and have just discovered neurotherapy myself. If you google EEG neurotherapy for migraines it will bring you up lots of info. Hope that helps ...
Hi Ghost...........I lost my job with Migraines.........had em 16 years now. I tried the meds you have. I now take Paroxatine 40mg a day. It helps so much. Even if I miss them a day I'm bad for a few more days. Everybody is different, literally............but give em a go. I was prescribed by Prof Peter Goadsby, top Headache/Migraine specialist.
