Cluster headache. Shadows and Verepamill.

I'm 9 weeks into a CH cycle. I'm having constant shadows or low level headaches. Could this be due to the Verepamill or could my cycle be coming to an end?.

I think you do get a constant low level headache with verapamil, particularly if on a high dosage. However, I think the shadow headaches are different. I do think they are clusters rather than medication headaches and happily for you, probably means you are coming to the end of the cluster period. I'm off the verapamil now and I get shadows and clusters but when I don't, I'm completely clear which is lovely!

Good luck with yours- hope its near the end. It's the most awful illness isn't it?

Best wishes

Becky

Thanks for the response. I think your right as I'm not on a big Verepamill dose due to recent diagnosis (after 12 years). And the pain is far more manageable now. It is hideous and so difficult to explain. Good luck with yours and I hope ditching the Verepamill continues to improve things. Harriet.
