Head pain post migraine

Is it normal for your head to hurt a couple of days after a particularly bad migraine? The worst pain is definitely over, but I can still feel a slight lingering pain at times in the location where my migraine was.

The postdrome of a migraine can be as debilitating as the active phase of the migraine, as you have to deal with exhaustion and dull head pain can be part of that too. It's all part of the same thing, migraines can go on for weeks or days. I've just had a 5 day migraine, they are amorphous really, often different every time and different in different people.
