Just waiting to go on this med, does anybody have any views on its usefulness in preventing migraines.?

I've been on Ajovy for a year and a half. It worked very well for the first year, halving my migraines and lessening the severity. Then they took me off it and in months I was off it I went steadily downhill, when they eventually put me back on it it didn't seem to work for the first month, but it seems to be working now....

Hi I have been on Ajovy now for 4 months and the results have been mixed. I did have 2 weeks without a severe migraine but other than that it’s impact has been limited. This month my migraines have actually been worse. I am continuing for another 2 months and 🤞it starts to have more of an impact.

I had them for nearly thirty years, they were an allergy too thyroxine for me, I'm not saying it could be that for you, but there was a program on channel four which gave some good advice, I tried everything as preventers antidepressants, beater blockers, antieplic sorry if that's spelt wrong, trying magnesium, b vit, literally everything, I still have auras everyday, but not the pain, I haven't now for over five years, I drink between three and five litres of water because I have pots and eds, and I take armour for the thyroid, good luck hope you find your cause kx
