Migraine Cravings

Hi,

I wondered if anyone has any advice for combatting migraine cravings? It has led to me gaining weight as I regularly experience intense chocolate/sweet/carb cravings, thirst and exhaustion prior to the headache. It feels exactly like a hangover. Any advice on dealing with this or similar experience?

I am right there with you. I always crave dark chocolate. I have also heard that if you don't give into the cravings it can cause a migraine.

What about breaking it up so you are eating a little bit throughout the day.

Thanks for your reply. I'm currently trying to work out if perhaps it is the sugar or chocolate that is a trigger. It's so hard to stick to healthy eating when these prodrome symptoms are so overwhelming.
