Been suffering from a massive migraine for 5 days now. I know there is currently no cure for migraines, does anybody know of any type of natural remedies to help ease the symptoms?

Try ginger tablet. Also 500mg of Magenisum tablets. These work for me to minimize the migraine head ache

Have you tried Acupuncture?

Go to someone that's properly trained, not a physio. You'll find a list of who's near you on the BAcC website.

When I was doing Acupuncture, the Dr. Louis Moss Method, I cured every Migraine patient who came. About 30 in all. Try to find his book, ACUPUNCTURE AND YOU.

I am retired, but if you are able to come to Bournemouth I will try to see you - no charge.

Did you practice the Japanese method. I went every week for months for that and it did help initially but like most things I've tried that has helped it has only been short term. The daith piercing has definitely improved my. Ingrained but not stopped them altogether. I am currently waiting for my Chi machine to arrive...here's hoping, fingers crossed

Hi I used to suffer tribe migraines but after stopping foods with sweetners in I don't get them anymore.

I check labels for them still as they are in loads of stuff.

Hope this helps you.

Mine didn't work for me. How long did it take for you to have relief? Was it immediately?

I had immediate relief. Went in with a migraine, felt a release of pressure as soon as it was pierced and had no pain for 3 whole weeks..unheard of. However they did gradually return but no where near as severe or as often as they were. ..everyone is different some people I have heard they haven't had a migraine since, others it didn't start to improve till after a few weeks and some had no improvement at all. Very important, did the piercer know where he was supposed to pierce as I know of someone who went to one and he had pierced in the wrong place.

He said he did. I'm sure any piercer will say that now to get the deal. It looks to be in the correct position to me. I felt relief the first day but that was it so I wrote it off as feeling the pain in my ear instead lol.

Not sure sure what you have already tried. I became a young living essential oils member specifically for the one the called M-Grain and it does help me. I'm also going to be starting the sulfurzyme powder from them next week. If you'd like more info on this or some others that help including a neck tension cream I put together for sleep. Let me know. I'm I the states.

Also let it be known - I'm on topamax and botox And take B12 when I remember. But want to get rid of those! Deficiencies in vitamins can plan a huge role in migraines. B2, 6, 12, Folic Acid.

Are you seeing a doctor at all running these tests?

I would definitely like to get some of that neck tension cream , and I also have terrible insomnia so maybe that will help ? or any other suggestions you have. I've had this migraine for two and a half weeks now.

Yeah I have a neurologist that I seen. I noticed my migraines have gotten worse since Im going through menopause before they were Just monthly menstrual migraines .. now it seems like the headache is permanent

I completely understand. Magnesium can be very helpful for menstrual migraines but if you have any blood pressure or heart rate issues check with a doctor on how much is too much for you.

Young Living is having a great sale on their starter kit this month that has the oils you'll need for the neck tension as well as for sleep all in it plus a diffuser. Actually 11 oils total and then you can get the others like M-Grain and a few others I can recommend for your hormonal changes all at wholesale. I can send you all of that information and how to order it if you want - just shoot me a message here.

I'm not a strictly all natural person as I take some pharmaceutical meds and I own a skin care business partnering with Drs Rodan + Fields, but certain things I like to keep natural and hormones are one for sure and the migraines and sleep ones have been huge for me!!

My everyday headache started in July 2015 at the onset of my Hemiplegic migraines. We originally thought I was having a stroke. Two weeks later it happened again and went straight to ER. They dismissed it. My internal doc said maybe it's a migraine and I got mad that she wasn't listening. Told her this was not like my migraines. Come to find out this is a rare type and I somehow found it. Had one last night so am oiling up tonight to prevent it!!

Hi new to all this but I thought I would give you some ideas I've tried : forehead, hand feet in cold water and cold flannel on neck, massaging acupuncture points above eyebows, putting something tight on your head then taking it off hope one of them helps x

Hi change2014 i know it'sa year later but....

have you tried Magnesium Bisglycinate Tablets 150 mg twice or once a day?

I was getting about 7 Aura Migraines without headache a month and there was a significant reduction of over 50% once i took the supplements .I had a blood test before starting them and my Magnesium level was fine but

you can be low in magnesium as the test only shows magnesium levels in the blood but not stored magnesium.Hope you get yours migraines down .

Good Luck
