Can anyone relate?

Can anyone relate to this photo?? - I’m under investigation for many things atm autoimmune and autoinflammatory related issues. This has been happening from time to time, started in my left now now it happens in my right eye. Only ever one eye at a time, and then after a few minutes of trying to open and close my eye I regain full control. It feels strange when it happens like i can feel it coming on, but never lasts more than 5-6 minutes at a time. Could this be a symptom of MG, Im sure at some point I did have a blood test for this and it came back negative so I’m doubtful it is but wasn’t sure if this is somthing that can become positive over time .. what are peoples experiences over this and what does it feel like when it happens to you

Have you been checked for Bells Palsy? Often after a cold, if you're pregnant etc. My partner was actually informed she had Bells Palsy and I went with that as I already knew the symptoms as my father had had it, but a year or two down the line when things got worse I started researching as gp's and specialists couldn't come up with any other answer. I eventually found MG and everything fell into place but I had to tell both gp and neurologist what I believed it was before they then agreed and began treating her for that. Research, research, research.

No not checked for anything other than MG - (well aside from the million other autoimmune/autoinflammatory things there looking at due to my other symptoms) lol. Someone mentioned MS but I can’t see that I have that. There carrying out some spasm tests on my next visit. Orthotic assessment I think they called it. Not sure what that is for? To rule it out or to help confirm?

My MG symptoms started with one eye closing for a short time before opening again the GP recognised it immediately and sent me to the local hospital consultant who by chance had a father with the problem it was confirmed from start to finish by a blood test and traced with an initial cocktail of drugs as the symptoms had increased with a problem chewing and swallowing. This all occurred within a period of 4 weeks. Hope this helps you.
