Food (although I'm trying to develop a healthy relationship-not as if I can go cold turkey), SimCity.

I feel it is my duty to tell you , you have been sadly misinformed. Shopping is a combination of the mental and the physical necessary for those of higher intellect. After your work out hydration for body and lubrication of mind is a must. At this point a relationship is probably a good idea if you can find a bad boy for a short term . That leaves only one addiction the internet, and you need some down time. It's all about perception. You're welcome,Pam

lmao VM. True, true. I do use shopping partly as I walk there and back, walk round the shop and it is better than sitting on the sofa.

I love* your name mysmugcat😂! I noticed when I signed on there were no categories about addiction (just reading some of these posts). It's hard to mete out what is what with dual diagnoses but this is something I've wrestled with. I stopped drinking altogether in my thirties but the meds are tricky. I have found the medical system (in the US) to be sorely lacking in many areas--all too often that includes lack of compassion and a tendency to dismiss, pigeonhole and shame. There is a hotbed of debate because of the opiod epidemic but people are also suffering needlessly. After the "affordable care act" most Drs are concerned first and foremost with Money. I don't know what happened to "first do no harm"... Now a shopping work out I could go for😃
