Has anyone tried Manuka Honey for acid reflux or an ulcer?

Feeling very down worrying about this

Use a probiotic honey to try and boost my immune system and deal with sore throats - don't get sore throats the way I used to so that is probably working. I don't tend to use Manuka as it is so expensive. There is an alternative from South America - ULMO - which is a lot cheaper - you used to be able to get it at Waitrose but they stopped a year or so ago - not sure why but may be because they moved to a fair-trade branding (the producers of the honey) - you can get it from various on-line (generally health food) sources - it's now branded as fair trade as well ...

I haven't used it for acid reflux (which I'm currently suffering a little bit from but think that is related to a vitamin problem I have so concentrating on correcting that)

Sorry to hear that you are having gut problems.

Hi and thanks

I haven't heard of a probiotic honey, I would be interested in that as I take honey every morning

Yes manuka is expensive , I used to take it years ago but when I checked the price recently it put me off

No I took the pharmaceutical route. It worked perfect, plus avoiding certain

Food. Have you talked to your Doctor about It?

Lesley Acid Reflux is not necessarily an ulcer. I think you should get

This treated properly, only a Dr. Can say if you have an ulcer, if you have you

Will need medication. Honey would be useless in thus case ,

Hi Hannah how are you?

I have been to doc and got Mebeverine for IBS but recently this has been worse

I'm worried about goin to doc in case it's something serious and that anxiety is making my symptoms worse x

Don't be worrying it's probably all the stress. The best thing you can do

For your health is Stop Worrying, it won't change a thing. Try and do some relaxation

Excercise sorry even swimming. Will mail you tomorrow. Please relax and

You will get through thus time.
