Would think GP or psychiatrist would be the starting point for you to find out. I hope you get help soon.

Hi, I don't know whether they will pay because it depends on whether they assess that it is what you NEED. The NHS will assess your needs via the local CMHT and offer you what they decide you need. That is really frustrating but is the reality and sadly they seldom decide someone needs a rehab centre. Often we only get the help we imagine can help after a long haul through services. I was lucky enough to have the money to take myself into private therapy which has been helpful although it has not solved everything by any means, but I know not everyone has the money to pay for private care and what the NHS offers is often inadequate, it's not really anyone's fault just the realities of a public service. Are you able to share with us what you feel you need rehab for? Sometimes people on the website can offer alternative ideas that can help. If you are fixed on the idea of a rehab centre and it is unlikely to be available for funding by the NHS then you are setting yourself up for inevitable frustration and disappointment. Are you able to allow other people to decide for you what you need. That is difficult but it may be that you have issues with trusting if not. Therapy would help if that's an issue. I don't know your situation but am just exploring my thoughts in case any of them are helpful to you. Do come on with more info if you feel able to. Suexx
