Salt water for circumcision

Hey guys so I have seen a few places that people are using salt water to help heal their circumcision? Is this true does this work? And when you say salt water do you mean like the sea or literally like table salt and water? Am a little confused, also I hear ice wrapped in a towel helps to reduce the swelling just wanted to hear from people who have actually done this and to hear if it did help or not

Thanks

Okay thanks for you help

I have done both and I would recommend it.

Boil the water first and add sea salt not table salt and allow to naturally cool before using it.

And I found icing about 3 times a day plus the salt water 2/3 times a day drastically helped with the healing and bruising.

Just a warning it may hurt the first few times you use the salt water.

Always allow the penis to naturally air dry or dab lightly with a towel.

Yes both can help.

For the swelling:

- get a bag of frozen peas, wrap it in a towel and apply it to your crotch area

- when laying in bed, keep your waist elevated so it is above your heart

Salt baths:

- boil water and pour in coup

- put 2-3 tea spoons of sea salt in it (personal preference, ad as much as you'd like though at some point the water becomes "saturated" and won't dissolve more salt at which point it can be too salty and slightly burn or irritate)

- let it cool off until it is warm or room temperature (personal preference)

- dip your penis into the cup for 2-3 minutes (depending on how long after the OP you are)

Alternatively you can also do the same with chamomile tea.
