What is this yellow stuff and do I need to get it off?

Okay so it’s 4 days since my circumcision and I’m currently in a massive state of regret! Have had like 40,000 30 second naps since Monday and I can’t sleep for more than 10 minutes without my wounded fella attempting to tear himself apart. Woken up covered in blood a couple of times but I think the stitches are still okay. I currently have some yellow substance around my urethra and I’m scaring myself that it’s puss and getting infected, any advice?

My bandage came off less that 24 hours after the operation and I haven’t been able to replace it, the pain of touching the glans is too much to bare.. If I can’t bring myself to touch it, how will I ever get back to normal?? I know it’s only been 4 days, but I can’t get used to it if I never put up with the pain to begin with right? I’m feeling hopeless 😩

Be patient that’s the best advice I can give you. It will soon be over, it’s surprising just how quickly you will recover.

The bit of blood dried you can remove I had it to the point I couldn’t urinate because it bled that much.

After two weeks the sensitivity will wear off by at least 60% you should be able to wear clothes comfortably without it bothering you but you will know it’s there.

The dressing is best to be kept off mine also fell off during the night and I didn’t put one back on.

Feel free to message me for advice👍

I didn't have any discharge on the glans of my penis. I did have busing and a small puncture mark where the doctor administered anesthesia.

I have been taking sleeping pills to help me sleep. They help alot.

Don't regret buddy. Your mind will heal you or break you. You made a decision, so invite positivity. Get a few checkups done. Always follow up with your doctor. Learn to dress yourself after the nurse removes all the bandages.

Keep the area clean and dry.

I personally feel that your penis is fine, the swelling is gone. It's a great improvement for just 4 days.

Worry not, you'll be fine.
