They should mostly be gone by the 14 day mark. If they fall out and the wounds are staying closed then you should be fine.

The would in granulating from the inside out. I think you should give it at least another couple of weeks. I had a gap where I thought the bonding wasn't taking, worried me. After 4 weeks it was fine
