Phimosis

I have a somewhat different question, I have come across many posts from middle age people who said that they didn't know that they had phimosis until recently. How did you find out you it, and what would be the best way to learn you had it from your significant other?

My bf has it, but is unaware that he does, I have no idea how to tell him but I think that it does affect our relationship. He is unable to come and while he can go forever, I can't. Any advice would be appreciated.

Go to a doctor for 100% certainty

He may know and be embarrassed to admit it. I felt broken being honest. Scarring after sex and pain forced me to go to a doc. Hope you both work it out okay

I would say just sit doesn’t and suggest going to the doctors with him or just bringing it up to him first, he may know and just be embarrassed and it may be comforting that you are there to support him I believe that’s the best way to go about it

Understand that phimosis is simply a word meaning muzzled, a description of. tight foreskin opening. It is not a disease. The answer to your question of discovery is simply to attempt retraction. Your bf is well aware of his condition but has probably been led to believe it’s a condition requiring medical attention. While there are those who recommend surgery as a first line of correction, the truth is that it doesn’t necessarily require anything at all. If his penis is functioning satisfactorily to emit urine and semen, he’s fine. The real question therefore lies in his personal perception of a need to change. If he desires reteaction, non-invasive and painless exercises can be employed to enlarge the frenar band, thus permitting retraction while also preserving his full sensitivity.
