Hi guys,
I need your help so here’s a short recap: I got circumcised 8 days ago and my doc gave me a high/loose cut. Everything is healing well so far and yesterday (day 7) I noticed that the majority of my stitches seem to have dissolved. But now I have some questions:
1. Is it normal for the majority of stitches to dissolve already - at day 7/8?
2. Now - when the stitches has dissolved - it looks like a small, small gap between the skin edges where the sutures were. Kind of like a “wound ring”. It’s not bleeding or anything but - is it supposed to look like that?
3. Because there’s now a wound without stitches holding it together - I’ve not been able to retract the foreskin. And now I’m a bit worried that it might result in adhesions instead? I’m not sure but I think I can se small small tendencies that the “wound ring” is sticking to the corona of the glans, but it might just be me stressing out about all this. So what should I do? Retract the foreskin in this stage of let it be? And how do I avoid/prevent adhesions?
English is not my first language so I really hope you guys understand me - and I also hope you can help me out. Thanks!
