Almost 3 weeks after circumcision

Day 20th and not even a single stitch has fall out yet nor the swelling has reduced as it should by now, it looks like a half donut on the bottom of my glans.. is it normal?? btw my stitches are of catgut material. Thanks!

The swelling on glands is completely normal!

Most of my stitches fell out around two weeks. Are yours dissolvable?

Swelling around your ring of skin should’ve gone down abit by now? That’s due to the stitches, definitely go to your gp.

Yes mines are dissolvable.. doctor told me I no need to use the gauze anymore but I have to due to those all itchy stitches.. I rlly want to go college. Would that hurt if my doctor pull those out himself??

Oh yes it would hurt but they need to come out. Have you followed up with your doctor to check?

I think i had huge swelling like that until day 12. I wrapped it tight with compression dressing. Tight means just find your comfortable range. This took my swelling down to half. If your wound looks like slightest infection, take antibiotics, it will help a lot.

Hi there! I went to my doctor today he cut the ends of some stitches which were coming out.. now my swelling should go down rapidly. He told me my stitches are of catgut so they get dissolve completely within in 3 months (ofcourse who gonna wait that much) any tips??
