Day 3 circumcision

I am 35 and had to go thru circumcision. Today day 3 and the incision line feel warm. No bleeding. Night erection cause pain around stitches. Took off bandage on day 2, it almost started built in the wound. My concern is, my incision on top side is hidden in the fold of skin and could not see visually. I am guessing this is due to short length when flaccid. Because its hidden under skin fold, i assume the air could not reach there. Will this be ground for infection? So far my wound is dry. Head feeling aorund stitches.

No its fine,just follow doctors instructions and keep it clean and wrapped up,once the swelling starts to subdue it will take care of itself..goodluck

Thanks. I do have more pain today than yesterday or the day of surgery. Is it normal? How long do you think the swelling will settle down? I have swelling on right side of saft. Tried to put icepack but doesn’t seem like its going down soon.

Well its been 3 weeks for me and I still have swelling so I can't answer that question but I can tell you the less stress you have and stop worrying about it you will heal faster,yeah once you get past the first week you will feel better

Hey mate first 5 days were worst for me! I’m on day 11 and I’ve only just started to wear pants with no wrapping

I am on day 22nd..Things are getting better day by day..masturbated today with coconut oil on shaft...be gentle while doing any activity on penis.

Your pain and swelling will start reducing after day 9-10.Dnt worry..dnt stress yourself...it always feel like our case is getting worst..but it's not like that...I too think that ..but things are very good now

Sounds good. Mine is day 5 and incision looks dry, but pain/discomfort is increasing everyday.I practiced activities for non erection during night but its not helping and i believe the source of pain is this. My stitches ending are hitting glan and it hurts. Not sure how to solve this. I put so much vasline abd still the few hard stitch end is hitting glan somehow. Other things getting improvement i guess. Wish you a quick recovery!

Day 8 post circumcision. Incision seems yellow/pink and called doctor. He thinks it might not be an infection but the way how local tissues is reacting with sutures but that can easily turn into infection. So he prescribed me Cephalexin 500mg every 6hr.Hopefully this will help my incision heal.

Also asked me to clean the incision with hydrogen peroxide. I read a lot of comments that says do not use this. So i thought to just use salt water to clean and use antibiotics ointment neosporin.

Let me know if anyone of you have any input or suggestions.
