I’ve been circumcised for 8 days should I stop applying a dressing?

Absolutely now no need for dressing. Let it naturally heal in air. Do maintain hygiene which is difficult in dressing

Here in Nordic it is suggested to use a gauze until the wound is healed and there is no discharge at all.

Situation is a bit different if your incision line is "under the hood" aka circumcision line is under the foreskin remnant. Then there is a normal shield protecting the wound when you are flaccid. It can be difficult to use a gauze. I know it is not impossible to use even then.
