Do you have problems with your foreskin?

Yes I suffer with Phimosis (tight foreskin and frenulum) hence the reason I'm having it removed

OK. What treatment have you tried to get rid of your phimosis. If you are in the UK then circumcision is not the first port of call. How can a surgeon know you need a circumcision without ever seeing you and examining your penis?

My thoughts exactly we have made one video call and that was it, the Dr didn't even ask to see my penis.

You really do need to make an appointment with your GP. Covid has not stopped those appointments and you will get proper advice - possibly such as stretching exercises with a prescribed steroid cream. Yours will not be the first case of phimosis your doctor has seen!

Foreskin give a more sexual pleasure and natural lubricant which will lost after it gone and first try streching excercise and steroid cream ask to doctor for this.. you have which grade phimosis?? Flaccid you can retreat foreskin? Circumcision have prons and cons

I still cannot retract when flaccid, I think circumcision is the only answer

in reply to Deano87

That is something for you to see a doctor about. You cannot be diagnosed snd properly treated without someone looking at your penis.

The vein should not be a problem. Surgeons deal with them all the time.

The veins are no problem. I was circumcised at age 70, 10 months ago, for the same reasons as you. No problems now and the pain and recovery were tolerable. I am so pleased with the outcome. I was careful with my hygiene. But it did not prevent phimosis and balatinitis. Creams did not help. Good luck.
