Sore bumps under skin post circumcision

Hi, I'm nearly 8 weeks post circumcision and everything has healed well. I had mine done on the NHS because of Phimosis. The stitches have gone and the swelling has mostly reduced apart from a little around where the Frenulum used to be. However under the skin behind the scar line I have some small hard bumps which are tender to touch, although they don't give me any pain or discomfort. I read on another post these are cauterised veins. How long do these take to settle down ? I'm scared of any sexual activity at with them.

As your wound has healed, you can use something like bio oil to massage the scar area. I have used it after each operation I have had.

Thanks but they are not on the scar, they are behind it under the skin behind the helmet.

If this is worrying you then you could talk to your doctor about it.

It isn't a worry. I just want to know if uts normal.
