Circumcised because of phimosis

Hey guys I’m on day 13. The swelling is still there especially on the underside of the penis. The first 5 days were hell there was a lot of swelling and a lot of bleeding where the frenlum is. But as the days went on I thought that the bleeding is stoped for good. But when I got out of the shower today I noticed that there was bleeding where my frenulum is and it look like there is quite a lot. Is this normal?

The frenulum area seems to be the last area to heal. Perhaps you have disturbed that area while showering. If it continues to bleed then you will need musical care. If you are worried at all, you can see your doctor to get things checked.

Frenulum will take a long time to heal buddy, give it another 10 days... have a great recovering time.. use antiseptic lotion suggested by doc till then..... cheers

The first 2 weeks after a circumcision are always the worst part of the 6-8 week journey to full healing.

If the bleeding continues then talk to a doctor about it.

If it’s just a drop or two of blood, I wouldn’t worry. However, if constant bleeding I would call your surgeon. Keep it clean! Everyday you should be seeing small progress!

Good luck!
