Neurological processing disorder from bacterial meningitis

morning, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with neurological processing disorders please?

I went to the hospital recently for an auditory processing disorder but it’s now thought that this is wider neurological processing disorder that I need to be referred to a brain trauma specialist for. Having talked about the disorder, I do have problems understanding information, processing what someone is telling me, problems with my speech/mind going blank or saying something I haven’t thought of/wanted to say, less of a filter and ocd tendencies.

I was just wondering if anyone is able to share their experience and if anything has helped them please. Sometimes it can be hard to think about anything but this disorder.

Hi, had viral meningitis in 2015 3xs, took 3 years of recovery to get better, eyesight wore sunglasses 24 /7 , word search still, can’t follow direction still, do math? Easily emotionally traumatized, crowds, too much noise couldn’t watch or follow news or movies, difficult following conversation s, life has & still complicated , drs told me 2 wks u will be fine , no help a natural path was the only help I got , vit c infusions, acupuncture, cranial massage good luck & hoping ur future is bright with hope that time will be kind to u
