My husband’s first trip to the ER was on July 15, 2020 and was diagnosed July 28 with aseptic meningitis. He’s still recovering without many answers. Now his adult son was diagnosed August 28. I’ve been told that it’s important to find out the origin of the meningitis since my husband is 57. Every test they did was negative. We don’t know if they’re contagious either.

Aseptic/viral meningitis in not contagious. recurring aseptic meningitis is what I get instead of flu usually. It was thought to have been originally triggered by a mosquito bite or flu virus. I'm left with various things but the worst is paresthesia.
