4 months post VM diagnosis was feeling better for 2 weeks then got respiratory infection and all symptoms came back -anyone else?

Hello! I was diagnosed with VM in July. It was considered a “mild” case. I was never hospitalized but had at least two months straight of headaches, tingling in hands, feet and face, extreme light sensitivity, some nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and general irritability. Then about 3 1/2 months out it seemed to clear up. I felt pretty much normal for two weeks and then contracted a respiratory infection from my kids and all of the VM symptoms came right back. Is this normal? Is this something I can expect to happen every time I get another bug/illness? Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience???

It is uncertain if you will have recurrence or not, some do some don't. In some cases it is a problem for a while. Make sure you find good support for your overall health. Acupuncture, herbs, supplements, aromatherapy etc. A good sleep regime and stress reduction. It seems if you really take time to recover before starting to push yourself you might have better success. Best of luck.
