Post VM and vaccinations

How have people got on with flu or travel vaccinations after VM? Was there any problems? Just wondering as I was was looking ahead to travel next year.

3 months post VM. No problem with flu vaccine. Would not have any live vaccines . Certainly would not consider travel to anywhere needing vaccines, not worth it if avoidable! Flights are notorious for infections. I still have a slightly low white blood cell count so immunity is lowered so pointless risking further infection .

Personally, I would rather hype up my immune system for instance with black elderberry extract or olive leaf extract prior to the flights. There are even lozenges that you can take with you. I've seen too many people suffer flu like conditions post the jab, that have lasted as long , and were as severe as the flu would've been.

Thank you, I understand where you are coming from. My experience this year was collapsing with pneumonia after getting the flu and that was way worse. My wise GP wants to wait a year before vaccinating for pneumonia, but I dread the winter as any mild virus flattens me at present.

In recovery from VM and it’s been about 2months.Had my flu jab 2 days ago as doctors advised it.Spent yesterday in bed exhausted but better today so 🤞🏻I’m doing ok.
