I was told nothing about it I couldn’t move my neck I couldn’t move off the bed burning hot and could not stand the light and loud noises ,and was in hospital for I don’t even no how long. I’ve heard that people with m are crazy. What do they mean by that. Can having m when I was that young affect me now? Crazy how?

At 45 now and it was over a year ago, things have improved for me. No, you're not crazy! I'm very sensitive to light and sound as well, and still dont have full mobility back.
I had streptococcus meningitis when i was 5 and also got arthritis which seemed to last till i was 13. I'm now 35 and in the sense of crazy, its more the feeling of confusion. I struggled through school taking information in and was always the one behind. Ive always struggled with anxiety, but lately ive been getting flash backs of my youth and the anxiety has got worse, and now feel like im going crazy cuase its hard to get people to listen to what they can't see.
I had meningitis when I was nine and I’m 57 now. I’ve never heard about it making you crazy but that does seem the risk that it can be mildly recurring and I have been diagnosed with CFS/ME but actually it could be recurring meningitis at a lower level.
