Meningitis & Varicella

Anyone have experience with Meningitis and Varicella Zoster (aka chickenpox/shingles virus.) I have started to feel bad again and have been doing some research. I am starting to think it is related for my situation. I had the virus at a very young age but it actually effected my brain instead of my body. How did you determine it? Did you take acyclovir? Do you still suffer? Abnormal labs? Specific symptoms? Appreciate any info! 💕

I had it 3,5 years ago. And still recovering... still taking valacyclovir! And my doc said i will take it for long time because the virus was taking over my body. My doc is friend of satah myhill (check her out) They are docters that do believe you and don’t think you are crazy! My recovery was such a hell! First two years i was so out of it. Last year doing beter and beter. But still am not my old self. Have to sleep between activities and still have problem with lights sounds etc. My brain is getting better but takes so long! And because of the virus i kept getting sick! Getting other viruses etc. What is happening to you? I also take lots of vitamins and b12 injextiona.

They now think i have autoimmune and its possibly a blood clotting disorder 🤦🏼‍♀️ Its really awesome when they call you up and ask if you’ve had blood clots.....and the doctor is going to retest you in march and follow up w you in February......but no meds! Ive been in miserable pain. Honestly, im glad they found something and arent treating me like a hypochondriac drug seeker! Its so disheartening to keep seeing all these docs and be sent out the door to someone else. I definitely think its all interconnected though! I still think there is a connection w VZV from when i was young. But they won’t listen to you unless a “test” comes back abnormal. Well now 3 have! Makes me feel better to know its not just me! ❤️
