Hope and Healing

Hi, I'm new to group. I want to share some of my story. I had the "normal" symptoms... Headaches, light and noise sensitivity, painful and swelled neck, joint pains, very painful and swelled lymphnodes (jaw, abs, and groin). I felt crippled. Especially my groin lymphnode, I could hardly stand or walk.

I was researching into any relief I could find for lymphnodes. I stumbled across a tea used to help lymphatic cancer patients. I thought, if this tea is strong enough to help cancer patients with their lymphatic pain, just maybe it could help me.

I looked up Graviola/soursop tea. It was cheap, under $10 on Amazon. I ordered 30 organic teabags.

To my total shock, it not only helped my lymphnodes, within a few days, my headaches were gone, my light sensitivity decreased, all my other pains, aches, and general soreness decreased.

Within a couple of months, pressure and brain fog gone. I felt more normal than I ever expected!

I started out drinking two 8 ounce cups a day, steeped for 10 minutes and sweetened with raw sugar or raw honey and creamer. One in the morning and one in the evening.

I also took some daily brain, vision, and energy supplements: gotu kola, apple pectin, and grape seed extract.

And I took milk thistle before bed to keep my liver and kidneys from getting overloaded.

And because mine is viral, I took some immune boosting supplements: echinacea and Dandilion roots, vitamin c, and zinc. And neem, a very strong natural anti-viral.

After two months and feeling normal, I cut my supplements down to one week on and two weeks off, and graviola tea once a week.

I hope any of this helps others who are suffering through the same excruciating nightmare I went through.

Thank you for the tips. I have a few questions...when you started all of these things, how long had you had the VM & when you felt normal again, how many months were you at if that makes sense ? I've done a few of these but didn't know neem was anti viral..there are so many different types to buy. What kind did you buy? Thanks so much...I would try just about anything to make this leave my body!!

Sent pm with more detail. I didn't know neem had strong anti-viral properties either, until I ran across several medical journals discussing different institutions testing it for treatment of several different viruses. And it was proving to be effective against a lot of them, including the one I have.

But I think Graviola tea is the major key to my fast healing. Just recently, I've been sharing this on a few different forums, and Ive already had positive updates from a couple of people whose daily headaches are gone and other symptoms decreased within just a week of drinking graviola.

It did take a couple of months though for most of my symptoms to subside. But to be honest, I was just so thrilled to not have the head, neck, and lymphnodes pain, that I didn't really care about my other symptoms. I was happy I could get up and walk to the kitchen without feeling like I was dying, over joyed to be able to grocery shop, cook a meal, and do dishes, :)

I forgot to mention I also took milk thistle before bed just to keep my liver and kidneys from getting overloaded. And the brand of graviola tea I prefer is Omura organic 30 teabags, it seems the strongest out the ones Ive tried. But I've also used the kind carried at the Vitamin Shoppe. And Organic India Neem is the one I use for anti-viral.

It sounds a lot like mononucleosis. I had it severely when I was 36. I was hospitalized and I could have told you where every single lymph node was in my body. I still have ropey strands in my armpits and that was over 20 years ago. There definitely is cross over between the symptoms of both viruses, as I had a severe headache and fatigue with both, but my glands have not become noticeably enlarged with VM, at least not yet. You might want to get checked for mono unless you have been definitively diagnosed with meningitis.

Glad you found something that helps! Best of luck.

I wish this was mono, lol. ;)

I had mono when I was in my early 20s, caught from husband who worked in hospital.

After my husband died, 6 yrs later decided to date again in my 40s, my first serious long term monogamous relationship was with a man who lied about having HSV2. My health and life went to hell after contracting HSV2, which led to HSV2 induced meningitis. I've been dealing with this for almost four years. But the last two years have been much better. I feel better than I ever imagined.

Swelled lymphnodes are fairly common in hsv induced mollarets meningitis. It's excruciating!

Hello, You can find my 28 year old daughter, Rosie S' Story, via the link on the forum stories from the home page.

We found that cranial massage worked wonders for her. Her job is working with horses on pretty much a daily basis and is very physically demanding.

It is rare for a story to be so positive and we have tried to let people know that this amazing complementary therapy worked for her. It helps release the spinal fluid which VM leaves a blockage for. Rosie is pretty much cured after around 10 sessions coupled with actupuncture, although found awesome relief after only one appointment. She is now free of all pain killers and antidepressants and feels right back to her old self.

We can only let you know what worked for her. It's not for all, but has now given amazing relief for many. It seems the success could be to do with the skill of the cranial osteopath you use. So it is important to find out the osteopaths credentials and experience in this specialised field particularly dealing with VM sufferers, if you can. (Not all osteopaths realise that this helps VM sufferers, it is often carried out on young babies with birthing problems). You need an osteopath and not a therapist who mearly has some training in cranial massage.

If you find you are getting the violent headaches and feeling lethargic and depressed after a few weeks, give this complementary therapy a go, it really could be worth it and save you being on prescribed drugs, along with months, years, of unnecessary suffering.

Kind wishes and best of luck
