Hi maddock my son also Meningitis/Encephalitis He spent two month in hospital we bring them now home. After every third day they have temprature. They can't eat through mouth thay can't set walk talk. They have give movement to hand and legs but can't use it. They neither cry nor smile. Plz advise me what should I do. That my son recover. We give them liquid through NG tube. They are very weak. There expression is no more. Plz plz plz I am waiting from my all bother and sister advices that what should I do that my son start walk talk eating. I will pray for all of u.

My son had BM in january 2024. He was in coma for two weeks. When he whoke up he didnt walk or talk. We went to a rehabilitation center were he had fisiotherapy, speach therapy and ocupational therapy. He Started walking alone in two months and very slowly started to talk. But Only now, 10 months afete he speaks as he used to

Well mine is still pretty fresh. I had bm in april but i experience stiff neck, headaches, depression snd anxiety. Hipe my post helps

My symptoms have included short term memory loss, slight dizziness and motion sickness. I have gotten migraines since I was a child but they changed after I got VM and Encephalitis. I still get migraines but now with a crystallized aura before pain sets in. I hesitate to include depression in that we all experience it in one form or another but it's there.
