Meningitis now we're really helpful to me and supported my recovery after viral meningitis last year

That is really good to hear and hopefully will help those who have more recently suffered meningitis to know that to contact Meningitis Now would be very helpful to them too.

I also have received info to help me understand the Meningitis and the after effects I suffered, great support and understanding, a listening ear when I needed it and some sessions of counselling were funded. But I know there is other types of help and support we can access from them too.

I agree a great organisation. Thank you Meningitis Now.

Still left with balance problems and nerve pain in my back but on a whole I'm getting much better, things do get better with time and have had to make some adjustments but there are people far worse off than me 😊

Am so sorry to hear that you are still experiencing some problems. I do not know when you contracted the VM but it is a long slow recovery process so hopefully things will continue to improve for you.
