Very sorry to hear about your sister's condition. TBM is a debilitating disease but with proper care, people can have full recovery, but it is time consuming.

The best advice would be given by your sister's neurologist. Stay in close contact with the doctor and I am sure she will get well soon.

Well it will take sometime and think yourself as lucky that she don't have other residuals...Fever and other issues will slow down with time...

Why she can't walk? Can you tell me a brief story of her illness for better understanding? Was she in coma and had hemiparesis (Weakness of one side of the body) or any other issue?
