I'm worried to talk openly about my IC and me having to wear pads but I do know they know but they never say anything negative to me or even mention it. It's that a good thing. I need to bring the subject up with my key worker has my IC is getting worse. I'm dealing with it good. My deputy buys my pads so if that is the case will he tell them anyway? I'm embarrassed to open up about it.

should supported living setting be understanding if the resident has incontience and wear pads. Should they be discreet?

It must be a difficult thing to bring up, but if your supported living setting has good staff you trust and are respectful, they should absolutely be discrete and professional. The best support staff will always want the people they support to be happy and healthy and will do what they can to make sure that happens.
Of course it's natural to feel embarrassed talking about personal things, but if you have a good relationship with your key worker I am sure they will be supportive if you choose to tell them about it. Or maybe you could ask your deputy to mention it to your key worker if you feel that you don't want to bring it up?
