Housing help

My step daughter is 32 and is diagnosed with di george sydrome, this means that she suffers with health implications and moderate learning difficulties

She is living at home but really needs her own space

She works 16 hours a week and does not claim benefit but is in receipt of DLA

Any ideas on where to look to find her own space ?

Am under the impression she could get help with housing costs

Hi browndog1 , as Jofisher mentioned, you can give our Learning Disability Helpline a call, you can speak to them on 0808 808 1111 or email them on helpline@mencap.org.uk if you prefer. We have trained advisers that should be able to offer some advice, or signpost to services in your area who can support you with this. Hope you get the advice you need.
