Court Of Protection Forms Help Required

Any one know where I can get "free" help with doing the COP forms and submission for my Daughter who will be 18 next week.

I did mine it is doable just go through it carefully I had to do the property and finance one first and then the health and well-being but that may have changed call and check. Go on the gov.uk website and check it out good luck

Thanks I have download and completed the forms and got my Gp to help too so I am wondering why it costs £1000 for someone else to do it!!

Exactly and I was told Oh you won’t get the health and social care one !!!!!! What a nonsense they try and put you off. I got both no problems. Good luck

My son is 23. I’ve not done it yet as there’s been no need. He moves from residential college to residential care in August so we’ll see then if we think we need to do it. Not looking forward to the forms though. Please keep us updated how you get on.
