Having blackouts days after receiving Pfizer vaccine and booster.

I am a 68-year-old female who has been healthy and active all my life. After 4 to 5 days of receiving the Pfizer vaccine and also, its booster shot I now have experienced blackouts. These events have lasted under a minute but was determined by a neurologist to be seizures. EEG was proven negative. I am now on seizure medication. This has certainly disrupted many people's lives that should be recognized and shared.

Dear Dietzen1, so sorry to hear about your reaction. You are quite right people need to be made aware of these things and something done to provide help and support for those who have suffered. There are doctors and senators in the US speaking out and also providing information and support. Senator Johnson is one.

Please see my reply to another post about a vaccine injury for some other sources of reliable information

There are others too.

Unfortunately some main stream media cannot be relied upon as being a reliable source of information, nor can so called ‘fact checking’.

As an example editors of the British Medical Journal which is a prestigious medical journal recently wrote to Mark Zuckerberg about the very poor ‘fact checking’ by Facebook.

My son was damaged by the MMR vaccine as a toddler, now an adult he's living in a unit for special needs young service users. I am looking at LPA but realise I can't apply as he has no capacity. I am now looking at becoming a Deputy for him. the reason is they have planned to vaccinate him against covid which I have refused due to being vaccine damaged before. This has been ongoing since last year. I feel as a parent I have no foot to stand on, Any Advise Help........

Dear tibs_Jem, so sorry to hear about your situation. I will look online for information that hopefully will be of help and will get back with it. I think that legally they cannot just give your son the vaccine which is why they are pressuring you to give consent.

Given that your son was harmed by the MMR his GP ought to be very wary of him having the Covid one and I would have thought be advising against it because of the risk.

Who is pressuring you to give consent? Is it the home or the GP?

The Unit is advocating that all service users be vaccinated. they rang me to say their doctor will be visiting to do further vaccines with the users on Wednesday, tomorrow 16.02.22

Dear tibs_Jem, I have found some information online that I hope may be of help. A note from 39 Essex Street legal chambers on Vaccination and Mental Capacity says that if someone does not have capacity and does not have an attorney or deputy then a Best Interest decision has to be made.

A Best Interest meeting at which all information about your son’s health is considered should be held so that a properly informed decision can be made about whether he should have a Covid vaccine or not.

For example the fact that your son was damaged by MMR vaccine should be taken into account.

The British Medical Association guidelines on Best Interest decisions

bma.org.uk/media/1850/bma-b...

on page 15 says that the person carrying out treatment is the decision maker and that they should consult others involved in the care of the person.

If there is disagreement about what the right decision is then the Court of Protection should be asked to decide.

The Unit doctor or whoever is giving the vaccine needs to be told that your son has previously had a very bad reaction to vaccination and that his disability was caused by it.

It might be helpful if you put in writing that you do not agree that it is in your son’s best interest to have a Covid vaccine because of his medical history of having been damaged as a result of previous vaccination.

I think it would be helpful if you could get some legal advice. Leigh Day and Irwin Mitchell are firms of solicitors that may be able to help.

Thanks for sharing this - hope your post doesn't get censored and deleted.

I have heard that quite a lot of people who have had this vaccine have had quite bad reactions, but when they try to show what has happened to them on social media platforms, they usually get censored, shut down and branded crazy conspiracy theorists.

Let's see if your post is branded as such!
