My daughter is finishing college next year and I am trying to information gather to plan for her next steps. she wants to work with animals, (or Pet shop). s
She is very organised when trained, but will need to be supported as she has learning difficulties and limited speech. She is fully mobile but careful and deliberate movements.
She is very social and happy person, but worried what comes next. I have a EHCP next month and trying to get SEN team at the council to attend. The college and council pointing the finger at each other, over who should be supporting her next.
How do I look for work experience/ apprentships/paid work?

Loved reading your post. I understand your concern and problems you face. I can only advise and wish you well. Firstly, contact your local colleges to see if there are any animal related courses. They may be full or part time or even volunteer help. Ask around or go through the internet at animal kennels, horse riding schools, animal charity organisations etc. Through past experience and working and helping at a Horse Riding School they welcome this type of opportunity. Animals do not judge, they welcome the Nurture and help......... and this helps US. Take care.
I congratulate you, your daughter has almost passed the difficult stage of education and now all the doors are open to her to prove herself as a real professional. I so want to finish college soon, but I have so many academic debts that I'm worried it might drag on. On the recommendation of my friends, I found essaygeeks.co.uk and I have high hopes for them. These guys saved my best friend from expulsion, I hope they will help me solve my academic problems too.
