hi,

i know my memory is bad and i waffle so here is a short version-im making a free disability awareness simulator/game to educate people on learning disability and other disabilities and im just wondering if anyone fancies giving some ideas for topics/barriers to show players i woud be very greatful and youd get a thankyou in the credits if you were ok with that. :D

one of the art projects ive been doing with a PHD student for the past year (a long with a few other artists,im helping her understand why artists with learning disability are not welcomed into the mainstream art world) and shes called a lot of my work ive done with her 'political art',and one of the topics that came up was the way disability isnt shown well in games plus the needs of disabled people-learning disabled gamers for example are overloaded with language in games, tight fine motor skills and difficult puzzles and information overload, but awesome cash limited indie games like 'meadow' ( to use an example) were made disability friendly with a pictorial control and communication system being used-almost no human language used and it was eye tracker compatible-they did it on a small budget, why arent EA,konami, rockstar and so on pushing for it?

so i bought this game producing software a while ago-you dont need to know code to use it, and i ve slowly being learning what to do, i have nicknamed this project- 'project acess',you can see the first ever screen built in the screenshot ive added-itll be changed though.-i wont be able to put it on steam as it costs a lot of money to do that so ill host the file on my server, itll be a long while before theres a working version but the game will be fully free with no ads and suitable for all ages as its going to be put out there to help people become more aware and hopefully help us,either as as dsiabled people and/or people who play these games.

--im wondering if anyone woud like to add ideas to the game,as in-what topics or barriers you woud like to see featured for learning disability or any other disability? this isnt designed for gamers as such, its kind of an awareness simulator i suppose, ill have to see how it comes along.

ive got loads of ideas for all levels of LD,ASC, epilepsy, physical disability and severe mental illness, but woud love to see other peoples ideas, i can add you to the credits if it was allowed by you.--

thanks if youve managed to get this far. :D
