My son & I went for our vacation yesterday 10.30am by 7pm we were both quote poorly. My son was sick and had a bad headache I had a fever shivers and a bad headache. Will we both get the same symptoms on our next jab?

It depends on what vaccine you have the Oxford is worse the phiser. So if you have a phiser next time it will not be the same reaction.

I didn't get any paperwork and didn't realize till.i got outside that I didn't know. I have emailed my doctor and asked for confirmation. X

Not everyone has a reaction, I had the Oxford and never even had a tender arm so it depends on the individual. I would assume the second vaccine will be the same as the first that you received. Hopefully as you seem to have had a reaction first time round it won’t be as bad next time. Speak to a health professional if you have any concerns, hope your feeling much better now.

That's good, I've never been told or read that the Oxford is worse regarding reaction, but as I said I didn't have any so I think it's more about the individual and how their body copes. I was given a little card with the vaccine type, batch no and date given, which I would presume would happen with everyone. Obviously it didn't with you, so it's good your trying to get confirmation.

Thank you we are both totally over it now and back to normal. We had the oxford vacation if helps?

I work in a vaccination centre. The first Oxford Jab and the 2nd PFizer Jab are well known to make you feel unwell. Nothing too bad just headache, temperture and aches. Usually goes after 24 hours. Treat with Paracetamol.
