That’s tough. There is help in supported living but you do have to ask for it. Do you have access to a social worker through the tests you listed?

Hi I'm 11 months down the road with our daughter age 30,trying to sort out independent living it's very slow progress,no ware near sorting it out she suffers high anxiety, autism,so my experience, start looking in to it,via social worker, msrk

Hi,

Getting the support he needs doesnt mean he has to tell everyone, just the people who can support him or sort out funding. Perhaps he can talk to you or another person he trusts about it and how his information is confidential. It still wont be easy if he doesnt like talking about it but it may be something he can aim to overcome in order to reach his goal of living more independently.
